My tale is certainly a Cinderella story, but I'm still waiting for my "happily ever after" ending. When I was rescued, I had two babies with me. Both my kittens were very sick. One had suffered some kind of injury and had a crushed hip and broken leg. Despite the vet's best efforts, neither of my babies could be saved. I was heartbroken. But then my life started to turn around. Two little orphans came to the shelter. They did not have a mommy. When the volunteers showed the little furrballs to me, I gladly accepted them as my own. I loved them as much as the ones I had lost. I fed them, cleaned them, and played with them. Now that my little ones have been weaned and I have been spayed, I need my very own family to love me and take care of me. I'm sure you can tell that the glass slipper will fit my dainty paw. Won't you come sweep me off my paws, put me in your carriage, and take me home to your castle?
