Meet the Dream Team

Gray

My name is Gray and I am 10-years-old. Lifelong Friends is important to me because they are a non-euthanizing shelter. It is the place where I got one of the most adorable lovable pets that I’ve ever owned. His name is Fritter – he likes to play fetch like a dog, but he’s a cat. If Lifelong Friends had not been there to help him, Fritter wouldn’t be alive today. They bottle-fed him from the time he was born. All the animals that get help from Lifelong Friends will make wonderful pets and lots of people happy like me!

Carley

My name is Carley and I am almost 13-years-old.  Lifelong Friends is important to me because they give animals a second chance at life and don’t euthanize them.  I am a volunteer at Lifelong Friends.  Last spring we got a black kitty when he was only two days old and we bottle fed him.  We named the kitty Bear and fell totally in love with him.  He plays with everything, follows us around the house like a dog, and loves to be held like a baby.  He also plays in water (toilets included) and unravels the toilet paper in the bathrooms.  He makes us laugh all the time.  I’m very glad Lifelong Friends was there to take Bear in and let us foster him or else my family wouldn’t have this awesome cat.

Ashley and Peni

Ashley

Hi My name is Ashley, I’m 16 years old. I’ve been a part of Lifelong Friends Pet Adoptions (LFPA) for a long time. When i was younger i would spend my weekend in lago vista just to help out at the shelter. LFPA is a no kill shelter and that means alot to me. When i see these animal hurt or abandoned i feel so good that everyone at LFPA is helpful to these animals but i still feel horrible that there are people out there that would leave there animals stranded. LFPA is so packed with loving and precious animals and they constantly need the help to care for them. i know it makes me feel good when i help out and you will too if you try.
